Pelicans, spoon-bills, herons, yellow billed ducks, Egyptian geese, egrets, common terns, plovers, sandpipers, coots, white breasted reed cormorants and the pied kingfisher are just some of the species to be seen. The beach is also a favourite spot for surfers and body boarders.
